Movies are so popular in Africa, that the Nigerian Film industry commonly called Nollywood, could be the 3rd in the world in terms of annual production.
Depicting diverse topics from adultery , AIDS, to witchcrafts practices, African Cinema treats of the main African problems and entertain viewers all over the continent.
Cinema is what the continent has always needed to exhibit our different cultures, get an insight on each country's problems, and create new jobs in a developing entertainment industry.
As a result, the Fespaco, in Burkina Faso, a yearly cinematographic manifestation, is drawing more people and professionals every year; Africa also has its share of movie stars ranging from Nigerian actress Genevieve Nnaji, to Ghanaian Van Vicker.
The future challenges appear to be a better distribution at the continental scale, and the everlasting fight against piracy......
