MEKHI PFEIFFER TO PLAY AKON

The senegalese hitmaker Alioune Thiam (Akon) is currently working on adapting his life story to the screen in a movie titled " Illegal Allien " and has "8 mile" superstar Mekhi Pfeiffer to star in it.
The movie will describe the journey of Akon from Senegal to the streets of New Jersey, his incarceration, and his rise to the top of the music world. The movie is expected for early 2009, and Hollywood is already talking about it .
